This Tuesday I turned 19, crazy! My last year as a teen has officially begun also I guess 'The Courtneers' not nineteen forever is now my go to song ;) I had the most relaxing day ever, started off with some morning yoga and then a surprise trip to a spa, where I had the best neck and back massage.

After my trip to the Spa, I headed out for a meal with family. Which was a little bit of an Italian carb overload, but I could forgive myself as it was my birthday. I was lucky this year and received some lovely little pieces, some including flowers, cath Kidston purse and a few bits and bobs from Mac.

As it's my final year of being a teen, I thought I would share with you guys 19 things I've learned in 19 years. I originally planned to do this in video form but it didn't quite work out so instead it's here on the blog. With that said let's go...

1. Speak to family as often as possible
2.  Music pretty much makes everything better
3. As much as I love baking, I've realised I'm probably never gonna be very good at it
4. In life, your always gonna have regrets, but as long as you can learn from them there is nothing to regret
5. Give yourself time to rest
6. Life is too short to wear boring clothes

7. Be ambitious, no goal is ever to big
8. Anxiety and Mental Health illness DO get better
9. Try everything, as you never no you may find something new you love
10. Listen to your friends when they say you don't need that last t-shirt, it's gonna save you a lot of money
11. Be Happy as no one really cares if you're miserable
12. I've learned that being along doesn't necessary mean you are lonely
13.  Working out has become a new love of mine, yes really
14. Always ask for help if you need it,  never be too worried to ask as you will only benefit from it in the long run.
15. Getting work done earlier is much better than rushing around trying to piece it together a couple of hours before. Preparation is key!
16.  Living on your own is hard, fun! But a lot more stressful than you would think.
17.  Not everyone is going to like you, but that's ok.
18.  The only opinion that truly matters is your own if it makes you happy that's all that should count.
19. And finally number 19, Blogging is a process, a long one but a process that will pay off in the end.

And that's it, I've had the loveliest couple of days and am looking forward to heading back to uni to celebrate with my friends. Heres to making this year, a healthy, hard working and fun one.
